Qatar Airways

I’ve had very good experiences flying with Qatar Airways in terms of in-flight service. However, their customer service and policies regarding damaged baggage are extremely disappointing. My suitcase, which cost €500, was returned with a damaged zipper and deep scratches. When I contacted Qatar Airways, I was told that it is not their policy to repair or replace damaged luggage—even though repairs would cost around €200. Additionally, the customer service experience over the phone was frustrating. While I don’t claim that my English is perfect, I found it very difficult to understand the representative I spoke with. Calling a Swedish number only to be redirected to a call center in India, with a language barrier, made the situation even more stressful.
