Stay far away from Badrumsrenoverarna!
Initially the communication went reasonably smooth. Had contact with one of their employees on a regular basis and had a pleasurable experience when he came by for the offert. After the offert was written things started going downhill from there. A date was agreed to start the work and during the work there was some contact with our contact person. After the initial work was completed, communication started to get slower and slower and it became harder to get in touch with them.
During the renovation, one of their employees managed to go through our kitchen wall and we were promised that it would be fixed. We had to actively chase Badrumsrenoverarna on numerous occasions for them to come by and fix the wall.
Now the fun part, the invoice was going to be split in two. One part to be paid up front, the other part to be paid after the delivery of the bathroom and all the work and documents were completed.
There were several issues with the bathroom that needed to be resolved and we made it clear that the second invoice would not be paid until then.
1) The tap for the sink was leaking. It took 4 visits before it was resolved and the last time the guy was done in 3 minutes and stated that something was simply screwed in at a little angle and it shouldn't have taken 4 visits to resolve.
2) The guy that set up the tiles on the wall put in a couple of tiles with faults in them. We were promised to have them replaced and eventually after several contacts they were replaced.
3) There were covers missing for where the electrical cables are hidden in the wall. After weeks of asking for them, they were finally "installed".
4) Paperwork was missing for our bathroom. No paperwork was given for the electrical work until we asked for it on several occasions.
As usual in good stories, the best is saved for last. We ordered almost all our stuff at Höganäs and had the invoice go via Badrumsrenoverarna. The shower doors that we initially ordered turned out not to fit and on the same day, the contractor called us and said we'll take them back, return them and you just order new ones. This can happen and it's not a problem at all!
Now fast forward 8 months when finally after asking on dozens of occasions that invoice for Höganäs came in. The invoice was unspecified and pretty much just stated "Inredning". We asked several times for a specification and finally informed them formally that without specification, the invoice will not be paid. When we finally received the specification, we noticed that the doors that were supposed to be returned, were still there. We were told that the doors could not be returned and we should pay for them as well. After literally dozens of contact moments since the initial call that the doors didn't fit, we find out that the doors could not be returned. If we were made aware of this at that point in time, we would have found an alternative solution by buying a space of some sorts. Badrumsrenoverarna stated that the doors are still in their warehouse and they can be delivered to us. Funny thing is, if we hadn't asked for the specification, I doubt that we would have known that the doors were in their warehouse to start with.
Overall, stay away! Bad communication and terrible treatment of their customers in all aspects!
