Alexandra was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an interior designer who brings creativity while designing a home that truly reflects YOU.
I was initially nervous about working with an interior designer because I had a budget and my own ideas, and wanted to preserve my apartment’s special architectural and historic character (it’s located within a conservation area in London).
Many designers either blow the budget or try to force you into a style that doesn’t suit your personality. NOT Alexandra.
She knew exactly when to listen, when to challenge my thinking and when to use her own creativity to enhance my ideas rather than replace them. She suggested layouts, colour schemes and design ideas that I would never have imagined on my own. Most importantly, she always made me feel that I was leading the project and that it was my home, not hers.
She even let my son choose the colour of his bedroom and then worked with him to select furniture that perfectly complemented his choice. Needless to say, he absolutely loves his room! In fact, he told me it’s the best bedroom he’s ever had.
As a busy professional, I wasn’t always available to make decisions or meet in person but Alexandra was incredibly patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. She helped choose everything - from lighting and furniture to accessories - with every piece thoughtfully selected.
What I appreciated most was that Alexandra wasn’t focused on expensive designer brands or exclusive items. Instead, she has an exceptional eye for finding pieces that bring character, warmth and individuality to a space, regardless of price.
It’s incredibly satisfying to walk into my apartment and feel that it genuinely reflects my family’s personalities rather than looking like a page from a design catalogue. Every friend, visitor and even the builders comment on how beautiful and unique the colours and interiors are, asks how it all came together and several have since hired Alexandra for their own projects.
