I had a blocked kitchen sink and called Gamla Stans Rörservice because they could come quickest. Plumber Robin assessed the situation and claimed he couldn't fix it due to an outside blockage, recommending I contact the building's managing agents.... He also looked at a leak behind my toilet, supposedly fixing it.
The next day, estate plumbers unblocked my sink easily and pointed out that Robin had misdiagnosed the issue. Gamla Stans charged me around 5000kr, while the estate plumbers charged only 600kr. When I complained about the high bill, staff promised to resolve it, but I continued receiving revised invoices.
Eventually, I was contacted by a collections agency for unpaid fees - this time about 1000kr. Robin was rude during our conversation, insisting I was paying for their time, not a guarantee of service. I paid the bill because of my financial record, despite feeling wronged.
