Meatballs for the people

I had a really good experience at Meatballs for the People. We arrived a bit early, but the staff were kind enough to let us in anyway, which set the tone straight away. They were polite, friendly, and made us feel welcome without being over the top. I ordered the traditional beef dish with 8 meatballs, and honestly, it delivered exactly what I was hoping for. I went in with high expectations, and they were met. The flavour was spot on-simple, proper comfort food done well. I also tried some local lagers, which paired really... Visa mer nicely with the meal. The only thing I expected but didn’t really see was a wider pickle selection or a bit more of a “pickles bar” feel, which I thought might be part of the experience. Not a big issue, just something I had in mind beforehand. Overall, really solid. Great food, good atmosphere, and friendly service. Would definitely go back.

I definitely recommend going to the restaurant! The service was great, and the food was exceptional. The meatballs had a really exquisite taste depending on the animal, and the side dishes that came with them were excellent. For any tourist that want to try meatballs, or anyone interested in real Swedish meatballs of best quality, don’t doubt to come here! From a Spanish traveller

Sixteen people from our company having dinner together, it was a great atmosphere, professional service, and amazing food!

Det er en meget hyggelig, forholdsvis lille restaurant, men vi blev taget rigtig godt i mod. De har et stort udvalg af meatballs, fra mange forskellige dyr, men også vegansk. Der er tre valgmuligheder for tilbehør, classic med mos, sovs og tyttebær, mac’n cheese eller a la plankesteg. Vi valgte plankesteg, med bagt kartoffelmos, tyttebær, sovs og syltede grønne tomater og med meatballs af elg på den ene og rensdyr på den anden, begge slags meatballs smagte himmelsk og var bestemt ikke den slags, som købes i et supermarked... Visa mer eller IKEA, de var hjemmelavede! Det var også muligt at købe en masse merchandise og det er normalt ikke noget jeg falder for, men de har en kogebog med opskrifter på, ja meget underligt, meatballs og af en hver tænkelig art, så den måtte jeg eje, for at få lidt nye input. Så alt i alt en super oplevelse, både visuelt og smagsmæssigt. Tusind tak for det😊😋

Das Lokal ist gemütlich, die Bedienung freundlich. Die Auswahl an Bier ist gut und die jeweiligen Empfehlung fand ich zumindest gut. Das Essen kam auch schnell und es war auch lecker. Allerdings war es jetzt nicht so ein kulinarisches Highlight wie ich gedacht hatte. Wie gesagt es war super, aber richtig umgehauen hat es mich nicht. Trotzdem würde ich gerne wieder kommen

Vi kom från Turkiet. Vi åt middag här vår första kväll i Stockholm. Det var en underbar upplevelse. Vi behövde inte stå i kö alls eftersom vi hade bokat bord. Maten var utsökt. De glömde vitlöksbrödet vi beställt, men kom med det 5 minuter senare och debiterade oss inte för det, vilket var väldigt vänligt av dem. Köttbullarna var fantastiska.

Un très bon repas dans un cadre convivial pour un prix un peu élevé mais qui reste raisonnable. Très satisfaite de mon passage dans ce restaurant, merci à toute l’équipe.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed. Firstly they got my sister's order wrong of which she ordered meatballs with mac and cheese which she didn't receive so she only are the meatballs. The place is also over priced for what you get and imagine paying close to 30euros for 6 meatballs?? Nothing more to say.

Everything was fine, the waiter was nice, and the food was really tasty.

Lovely little restaurant. Brilliant negroni and v good beers and wine. Very good meatballs with lovely mashed potato and lingon berries - the classic pork/beef were really good, the chicken less successful because of the texture, probably not surprisingly. Excellent garlic bread to start.

Skön stämning och bra mat. Hade varit fint att få välja sin måltid mer fritt (menyn är ganska snäv), exempelvis om man endast äter vilt och ekologiskt. Ganska dyrt. Lingonsodan är super!

It was very expensive and the food wasn't so much.

Life-changing. Existential. Meatball-forward. Came in as a human, left as a fully formed Scandinavian meatball with a deep sense of purpose. Absolutely no regrets. Ridiculously good flavour, dangerously addictive, and the kind of food that makes you forget all prior plans and responsibilities. I briefly considered cancelling the rest of my trip and living here full-time as part of the menu. Elite vibes, elite meatballs, and a meal so good I’m still emotionally recovering. Would 100% surrender my autonomy again.

It was a decent meal, just a lot of candles. Everyone was nice.

Ce restauranr fut incroyable, nous etions à stockholm depuis 3 jours et l’on ne pouvait pas etre sur la decouverte de cette ville sans passer par là. Le cadre est original, nous avions reservé et etions les premiers dans le lieux. Les boulettes etaient vraiment succulentes, nous avons eu tout deux des boulettes differentes et ce fût agreable de gouter à ces specialités. Un jeu etait en cours à notre venu et j’ai eu la chance de gagner en dessert la boulette de chocolat , un regal.

Vi hade en bra tid, vänlig personal. Utmärkt kvalitet! För mycket lukt i rummet och tyvärr för få portioner.

Such a fabulous meal, great atmosphere and the staff were wonderful and fun… would recommend to any one that visits Stockholm.

This was my second visit during my stay in Stockholm and I came back for a reason, the food is sensational, the staff are incredible and the atmosphere is lovely. Michael (who was serving both nights I was there) was incredibly attentive and had some very good recommendations. Cannot thank him enough for such a brilliant evening. Would highly recommend this place, the food is second to none!

A very cool, modern Restaurant and the service is friendly. The Meatballs are just wow! I can really recommend it to everyone, who wants to eat the swedish classic. One negative Point: I dont know if it is normal, but its very expensive. Overall a cool experience.

Please allow us to share plates or offer more flexible portion options. People from ASEAN countries are usually not heavy eaters. We are unable to finish large portions, and it results in unnecessary food waste. Vänligen tillåt oss att dela rätter eller erbjuda mer flexibla portionsalternativ. Meatballs are good but a little bit expensive in comparision to others restaurants of similar category.

Bra service och vänlig, trevlig personal. Vacker och cool inredning inuti. Maten var ganska utsökt, jag gillade inte såsen men allt annat var gott. Stort utbud.

Total überbewertet der ganze Hype. Essen war ok, aber viel zu teuer. Bei der gemischten Platte bekommt man fast nur Standard Kötbullar. Sehr eng. Nur eine Toilette für alle. Bedienung war nicht so freundlich, wie ich es sonst in ganz Stockholm erlebt habe. Ich würde es nicht empfehlen.

The atmosphere was ok, the staff was lovely, the music was great but nothing was special about the meatballs sorry:( and also quite expensive for a plate. 259 SEK for a plate which is half full. It wasnt worth it sorry.

Lovely atmosphere, great service, delicious food. My family if 5 chose quite different meatballs between us from pork/beef, bear and vegan all equally tasty. Particularly enjoyed the pickled cucumber. Highly recommend
