Patrik helped me sell my 55m² apartment in the Kvillebacken area.This was quite a special case because I am not Swedish, nor was I in Sweden when the sell had to take place. I needed someone to help me out and Patrik did exactly this and even went beyond my needed expectations.
Even though, the sell itself was never confirmed due to some continuous negotiations happening elsewhere, Patrik stood by me from the beginning. He provided his experience, his advice about banks and overall guided me through the process until the apartment was ready to be on the market.
To make matters more complex, tenants were involved. Though this did not matter to Patrik, he understood the situation and took on the challenge and made sure there was continuous communication between the tenants, myself and other third parties. There was one incident where communication didn't follow through properly and the tenants had to suffer the coincidences, but Patrik took the responsibility on himself and immediately suppressed further issues and quickly resolved the problem. Otherwise, prior to the sell, everything went really well.
The sell itself was also challenging. Viewings and offers were happening within just 2-3 days. Therefore, a lot of big decisions had to be made in a short period of time. All the while, Patrik was constantly keeping everyone up to date - even with the 9-hour time difference. Though stressful, I didn't feel as though Patrik was applying any additional pressure onto me, which I really appreciate. He even gave me time to myself to think things through. Patrik gave a nice balance between giving advice, but not really suggesting that one way was better than the other. As a seller, I still felt I was control of the situation, which I thoroughly appreciate and additionally I enjoyed! After the fact, a sale was made and a deal was done.
This is where I thought my professional relationship between Patrik and I would end, but no, he wasn't finished yet. He understood that getting the apartment prepared for the buyer had to be done, so again, he took on the responsibility and organized a cleaning company as well as a furniture removal firm to help prepare the apartment. The weekend leading up to the access day went smoothly. I was particularly worried about this part of the sell, but I was really impressed and appreciate all that Patrik had done from the very beginning, right through to the very end.
Overall, Patrik was instrumental to the sell. He was patient, forever helpful, maintained a great relationship and executed the whole process really well. I was overall impressed and I'm sure others will be too.
